Darryel,
Here
is the second of 2 Ohio birds that fell
to the Helm Custom Call's!!! This my bird
that I shot today Monday April 26 opening
day for Ohio Turkey Season. He weighed
20lbs. Had a 10 in. beard and 1in. Spurs
I used the Osage Orange sided with a maple
lid and walnut ends. Out of all the calls
that I have gotten from you it was my
favorite sounding call, but nobody liked
the white maple colored lid and orange
side's!!! I have sold 4 of your calls
to other people in the Northeast Ohio
area,I asked them to send you an e-mail
if they killed a bird with your call,
we'll have to wait and see!!!! My son
killed one on Saturday of Ohio Youth Season,
it weighed 19lbs. And had a 5in. Beard,
he came in on your one-sider box call,
my son likes it very well!! Good Luck
to you the rest of the season.

Hi
Darryel,
Josie got the first bird of her life today
during the NY youth hunt season. Anyone
that is under 16 yrs old can go with a parent
the weekend before the regular season. The
parent can do anything except shoot, and
this parent was loaded with Helm boxcalls!
We had four mature gobblers in range, but
this was the only one that presented a clear
shot. Josie was shaking so bad I thought
we were pegged a couple of times, but she
made a beautiful shot and dropped him in
his tracks at 22 yds. Camphor call--just
shy of 18 lbs, 8 3/8 '' beard and 1 1/8''
on the spurs. He was an older bird but didn't
weigh in like I thought he would. Another
score for the cluck of the Helm call. thanks
for making Josie's day, talk to you later.
Jim
